Mr Dalí, I presume

To me, Salvador Dalí, or in full, Salvador Felipe Jacinto Dalí Y Domenech, was the greatest artist the world has ever known. Actually, he is probably the world's only true artist. A colleague of mine at work shares the same opinion on art and artists, but about Escher, not Dalí. I think Escher's greatest problem was he did not realise that, unlike most animals, man can see in COLOUR.

I suppose I could bore you by telling you that Dalí was one of the original surrealists but I suppose you have heard that all before. I was about to sit down and design an entire series of html documents detailing Dalí's life and feature some of his great works. But as usual, I have missed the boat - many have beaten me to this! Whilst I believe that Dalí only created masterpieces, my most favourite, and the one I think is his most stunning work is undoubtedly :-
